The natural balance of the soil and environment is essential to keep producing on the fertile land we now have. The use of artificial chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and genetic engineering interfere with this balance – with unknown consequences! Organic also means food safety. The food that we produce and consume does not contain food additives or other synthetic chemicals which can potentially cause heath problems. What do you want to put in your body? Doesn’t your dog deserve the same love and consideration? We also incorporate green business practices in our daily operations and products. We only use recycled boxes and shredding for packaging. All our cellophane bags are completely biodegradable and can even be composed. That translates into zero landfill waste. We even use a green printing company for all our publications and business cards, which are printed using soy based inks and recycled paper. Last but not least we donate a portion of all our profits to PAWS Chicago to help with our local homeless pet overpopulation. This is a business policy that we wouldn’t operate without.
